I have been teaching Abacus at Best Brains for five years now. I have always been interested in education and enjoy coming up with ways to help my students develop a love for learning. I founded a charity organization when I was 11 years old to raise financial aid for underprivileged students and it is still up and running. When I'm not at Best Brains, I like to spend time with my family, especially my son.
Hi! I have been teaching bilingual/esl students for ten years. I received my Bachelor's in psychology from Loyola University Chicago. My Master's in Elementary Education and bilingual endorsement are from National-Louis University. I love Best Brains, and the kids that come here brighten my day. I have two cats. I enjoy being outdoors in the summer, traveling, or getting together with friends.
I am currently attending Huntley High School as a senior with a 4.2 GPA. I am active in my school's theatre program and I direct/choreograph shows at Marlowe Middle School. My favorite subject in school is English. I have two younger siblings as well as two dogs, and I love singing and participating in choir.
I am a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago, and was inducted into Phi Kappa Phi based on my top 10% class rank. I have substituted in 4 different school districts, and have elected to support individual students at one junior high school on a permanent basis. What I love most about teaching is motivating and encouraging students to reach their full potential in their scholastic endeavors. My writing has been published in newspapers and multi-authored books, and I am working on a website to share my writing on the internet arena.
